Religion is such a personal subject and many find difficulty in teaching it without adding their own religious beliefs as the standard truth.

I believe all religions and belief systems should be understood and valued in society and my sessions aim to extend pupils knowledge and understanding of all faiths without the emphasis on a particular belief system.

As a non-Christian bought up in a Christian school and community it was difficult to find my own sense of religious belongings without being seen as wrong, I aim to make sure no child feels this way but instead understand and celebrate the similarities of different faiths while respecting their own and others beliefs
